Sea shells by the coast are like little presents from the ocean, they are a reminder that treasures arrive every day in the form of simple things.
This necklace is like a cluster of seashells upon the beach, beautiful and unique with it’s own story to tell. Fifty shells around your neck, will surely make you have stories to tell. And all good stories have a twist… this costume necklace can be turned over. What does it mean? Well on one side the necklace has tones of blue and turquoise yet on the other sweet and pale colours of pink. Because just like in life, sometimes, we need perspective to turn things over and keep on glowing.
This necklace is intricate, wavy and light. Irregular shape, with a harmonious flow and ocean treasure and so much more. Rescued materials, sustainably designed and made in Western Australia.
This necklace has been initially designed responding to an invitation to participate in Sustainable Couture 2019 a Fashion event in Alice Springs, organised by a creative network of Australian designers who have fused their skills to forge a unique approach to recycling and refashioning.
